Hi! My name is Carolyn Thomson Twaddle and I'm so glad you're here!
 

I currently live in Austin, Texas. Before that, I lived in Washington state and before that in Spain.
 

I have four grown children and nine grandchildren, and family is really important to me!

​

I also know firsthand that life isn't always easy.

​

I know the demands of being an entrepreneur, the stress and responsibility of being a single parent, the pressures of financial hardship, and what it's like to live with chronic pain and compromised health.

​

If you were to ask me what my superpower is... it's the calming effect that I seem to have on people.

​

I've been told time and again that I'm a source of quiet strength, that I provide a soft place to land, and that there's a peace about me, which I can only attribute to the Lord.

​

After years of literally consuming everything I could about personal productivity and self-care, I eventually realized that trying to find a few practical solutions to make life easier, was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

​

Eventually, though, I began to discover a recurring theme and to make some vital connections between what I'd been learning... and what I was reading in the Bible.

​

To my amazement, the connections between the two started coming together in a most remarkable way, and in a way that simplified everything!

​

The result... a fascination with our design, the way we're made; which then led to the writing of LIVING IN SYNC: WITH YOUR GOD-GIVEN DESIGN.

​

While writing this book I discovered that we tend to overcomplicate things and don't realize the impact neglecting the basics can have on our lives.

​

What this looked like for me? Well, I discovered that I'd been contributing to much of my own chronic stress and physical exhaustion without even realizing it.

​

You see, I'd cut too many corners, for too long, especially in the area of rest and recovery.

​

And because I'm more convinced than ever that getting consistent quality sleep is essential, I'm in the process of getting certified as an Integrative Adult Sleep Coach.

​

What I'm especially passionate about though, is helping reconnect people to their masterful design and Designer, Jesus.

 

Along with this is my love and appreciation of Scripture. The more I delve into it, the more I discover the richness of what's inside, and I'm reminded that within these very pages are the answers to everything we need related to life.

 

I continue to discover that no matter what's going on in our world, what we need to navigate life in the moment is within these pages, which is behind my passion and excitement about bringing Abide Audio to you!
